1. Agreement to Terms
Throughout these Terms and Conditions:
- “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to AP AUTO PARTS.
- “You” or “Your” refers to the customer or purchaser.
These Terms and Conditions, together with your confirmed order, constitute the legally binding contract between you and AP AUTO PARTS for the supply of goods. Any variation must be agreed upon in writing by an authorized representative of AP AUTO PARTS.
2. Pricing and Payment
2.1 Currency and Tax
All prices are in AUD and include GST.
2.2 Price Changes
Product pricing is monitored regularly and may change at any time prior to order confirmation.
2.3 Exclusions
Prices exclude shipping and handling, which are calculated at checkout.
2.4 Title of Goods
Legal title remains with AP AUTO PARTS until full payment is received.
2.5 Payment Methods
We accept PayPal and credit cards. Payment is processed after verification and before dispatch. A tax invoice accompanies all orders.
2.6 Online vs Phone Pricing
Online pricing applies only to online purchases. Phone orders may not qualify for the same discounts.
2.7 Trade Customer Terms
Approved trade customers may receive trade pricing. COD trade customers must pay in full prior to dispatch.
2.8 Overdue Accounts
Overdue trade accounts incur 12% per annum interest. Collection and legal costs are payable by the customer.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1 South Australia Deliveries
- Delivery time: Up to 10 working days from payment confirmation. Some locations may receive next-day delivery.
- Dispatch: Orders are generally dispatched within 2 working days.
- Delivery Address: Goods are delivered to the address provided in your order.
- Missed Delivery: Couriers will leave instructions for rescheduling if no one is available.
- No Guarantee: Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.
- Recommendation: Provide detailed delivery instructions to avoid missed deliveries.
3.2 Transfer of Ownership and Risk
Ownership and risk pass to you upon successful delivery and receipt of goods.
3.3 Panel Shipments
Body panels are shipped only with prior arrangement.
4. Products for Modified Vehicles
Our products are designed for vehicles in original factory condition. Compatibility with modified vehicles is not guaranteed. Consult a qualified mechanic before purchasing for modified vehicles. AP AUTO PARTS is not liable for damages or losses arising from use on modified vehicles.
5. Purchasing
- Product availability is subject to stock.
- Orders are placed via “Add to Cart” and checkout.
- Ensure all personal and payment information is accurate.
- Orders are confirmed only after receiving a confirmation email.
- Parts are sold as single units unless specified as a set or pair.
- Compare product images and descriptions carefully; returns due to mistakes may incur a 20% handling fee.
6. Return Policy
- Notify AP AUTO PARTS within 48 hours of invoice date for returns.
- All returns require authorization.
- Include the original or copy of the invoice.
- Goods must be undamaged and in original packaging.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
- Restocking fees: No fee within 14 days; up to 20% for returns between 15–30 days.
- Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
- Special orders and interstate orders are non-returnable.
- Refunds may take up to 5 business days to process.
7. Warranty
AP AUTO PARTS products are covered as follows:

7.1 Suspension Parts (Control Arms, Strut Mounts, etc.)

7.2 General Warranty Conditions
- Warranty starts on the purchase date.
- Valid invoice required for claims.
- Covers defective products only; labour, freight, and consequential costs excluded.
7.3 Coverage
- Parts must be installed by a licensed tradesperson; otherwise, warranty is void.
- Defective products must be reported within 7 days with evidence.
- Eligible products will be replaced, exchanged, or credited.
7.4 Exclusions
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or external factors.
- Altered, deformed, or reshaped products.
- Painted body panels differing from original supply.
- Lost or stolen products.
- Normal wear and tear.
8. Transaction Policy
- All transactions are in AUD.
- Users must be 18 years or older.
- Parents/guardians may be held responsible for losses caused by minors.
9. Promotion Policy
- Standard promotions (coupon codes) apply to orders under $500 unless stated otherwise.
- Exceptions will be communicated in promotional materials.
10. Refund Policy
- Refunds apply for undamaged, unopened items within 7 days, excluding shipping.
- Full refunds may be issued if parts are out of stock and cannot be replaced.
11. Privacy Policy
AP AUTO PARTS is committed to protecting your personal information. Your details are securely stored and will not be sold or shared. Information is used solely to process orders and enhance your shopping experience.
